#arya breaks my heart #the way she’s following gendry around looking up to him with those big wide open eyes full of innocence #she’s still so young and childlike and she looks up to him following his every move #almost begging for him to be her friend and comfort her and just be on her side #because he might be the only one that makes sense to her #the only one she can respect like he’s some older brother #but at the same time she’s still defiant arya critical and judging and hardheaded #but there’s sadness too #sadness and doubt and disappointment #her whole world has turned to chaos and everyday is about surviving #but she’s trying to make sense of it #and she’s taking it all in with an almost childish sense of wonder her face is an open book #but it doesnt make sense to her and it makes me cry #and she’s afraid but she can’t be afraid #so she just sort of clings to gendry who treats her like an annoying little sister #he gets irritated but cant help to protect her #and how can you not when she’s looking at you like that #this young girl not much more than a child #surrounded by thieves and rapers all men and all older than her #and she just lost everything #not only her parents but her whole family her name her gender everything she is #arya is not even my favourite person but she’s the only character that makes me cry like a baby everytime she’s on screen #everything about her just breaks my heart
